bad news

grandpa passed away.

we received a phone call about fifteen minutes ago.

the doctors don’t understand because he has been making improvements.

thank you to everyone who has been supportive along the way.

may his soul rest in peace🕊

Oh Aneta, I'm so sorry. Your grandad was such a fighter, and his determination to carry on after previous injury shows what a force to be reckoned with he was. But brain injury is complex and unpredictable and, sadly, this was a fight he couldn't win.

It's plain how much you adored him and his loss will be such an awful blow for you.

There are no words for easing your sadness are there m'love.. But I hope you, your parents and grandma will take strength and comfort from one another at this upsetting time. Thinking of you all. You're a brave and caring young lady Aneta...

hi Aneta, I am so sorry for your loss, grandpa did all he could to try and stay with you but it became too much. I am glad your mum and dad let you go and be involved and I’m sure it would have been a blessing to grandpa to have you there. I cared for the elderly before I became I’ll and they can deteriorate very quickly, with very little signs, it must be very hard when you’ve been there as a family and then they gain their wings when their alone, but I think they must have chosen that. I’m sending you lots of love and hope you will pop back in every now and then and let us know how you are doing, take lots of care love Alice xx
