What could this be?

I very suddenly developed an indentation in my forehead back in October 2021. I have read online that it may be due to dehydration, therefore had upped my fluid intake, however this has not helped. Indent appears to be becoming deeper. Currently awaiting to be seen by dermatology.

Any one have any ideas of what it could be?

Hi B. I think you should see your GP. There are various causes for the sudden appearance of indentations but I'm guessing it's something only a medical professional could identify correctly, maybe with the aid of a scan and with tests for deficiencies...

Start with your own doctor ; he/she might recognise the defect without further investigation. Let us know how you get on.
