Hi everyone

Does anyone know any charities that accept old helmets worn for neurological reasons eg: post craniotomy?

Hi Charlie. Have you asked the neuro dept where you were treated ? I know fracture boots and crutches are meant to be returned to the orthopaedics depts after they've served their purpose.

Good suggestion from cat.

I previously worked in rehab. And do know that ‘old’ aids/equipment returned in good faith, were not suitable/unsafe to use again. If this happens, you could keep it as a souvenir of your successful craniotomy...
