Finding old hospital records

I remember vaguely the shed load of outpatient appointments for my leg back in the mid 80s but remember nothing regarding my tbi. My file was massive back then about my leg fractures. My mum used to tell me she could of used it as a door stop lol

Does anyone know how or where I can go to find them that's if they still exist after 37 years lol🤔🤔🤔👍👍👍

You could also try your local Patient Advice and Liaison Service,(PALS.) Just Google PALS and include the name of your area in the search.

Thanks Marnie22 it's much appreciated I've got a phone call with my doctor at half 4 today so I'm guna ask him about them I never went to the doctors about my leg it were always hospital so hopefully doc maybe able to access hospital records who knows eh..big phone call this for me as I'm opening up to him about my physical disabilities this is the first time ever ive spoke to any doctor about this bit so I've got to get it right lol..thanks for your comment 👍

You probably already do this, but I find having brief notes on what I want to ask and what specific information I want to be given is very helpful to me. I hope it goes well. 👍🙂
