Most people arrive at the vaccination centre alone (I'm working in one part time) - it's preferred to avoid too many people milling around. And can confirm that the usual reaction is "is that it??" "you mean it's done"? Or "wow, I really didn't feel a thing"

Wow .....so brought forward from Monday ! Yes D you'll have all the emotions you've mentioned so expect some serious fatigue and some tears later. But it's what you've waited so long for, so take deep breaths and savour every minute....

Good luck m'love.. x

I've just had my 2nd jab, I was told they'd been really busy but at 16.20 no queue and under 2 minutes in and out.

Somehow my 25 year old daughter had her 1st jab 3 weeks ago, with a very minor reaction, the same as myself with the first jab.

Incredibly easy to book my jab, NHS text, link to their site, enter date of birth, choose day and time, immediate confirmation from my GP practice.

I've had no reaction to the second Astra jab.

Even though I don't generally feel better after my visits, I'm always glad I went. All the best, hope it goes well, keep us posted x
