Sorry everyone but I'm new to this, I suffered a subdural hematoma 2 years ago and refused the surgery to drain it!I've been okay but over the last few weeks I'm starting to wobble again, feel all over the place most mornings 😯also do the headaches ever go away? Thanks in advance and please everyone stay safe

Sorry to hear you're struggling Pranny. It's difficult though to comment on headaches as it depends on their source. I guess you need to talk with a neurologist to get to the root of whether they're one of the many Bi after-effects such as tissue/nerve damage or whether you need to continue treatment.

Every brain injury's different, so you might need to ask your GP to refer you back to your neuro team for further assessment so that treatment is tailored to your specific needs.

Best wishes, Cat..

Thankyou Cat3,I've left a message with my brain injury nurse asking to see her soon, my brother seems to think I should be back to normal by now! I hoped so too no one really told me how long things would take although my nurse did say I'll never be the same again! Take care and thankyou for the reply

'Back to normal' isn't really an option Pranny......we need to adapt to a new normal. It took me 3 years to acknowledge the 'new me' but much, much longer to accept my depleted skills and short term memory.

Good to know you're seeking professional help. Please stay in touch with updates ! Cat x

Have you had it looked at again? I think it would be good to have it checked out. I hope that you will feel better soon.
