So I ruptured a brain aneurysm about 3 years ago and then almost back to back surgeries on my head one was to put a piece of my skull back the other one was to fix an unruptued aneurysm, and I'm suffering from head pain(not headaches) but a burning and shocking pain, I dont know what to do anymore, medication doesn't help I'm just feel so lost any suggestions

Hi Maria. Sorry you're struggling with (what sounds like) nerve pain since your op. Has your GP ever tried you on Gabapentin or Pregabalin ? If not, you could ask about them as they're very similar drugs used primarily for seizures, shingles and neuralgia.

Hope you find relief soon ; constant pain is so exhausting.

How long since the last surgery? I had sharp stabbing pain for a few months after my Traumatic Brain Injury, some times it was the position sometimes the weather some times exhaustion and sometimes just because!

It’s very tiring so please do ask the GP/etc to look again
