Hi everyone, it was shortly before Christmas and quite unexpected, but quick and very peaceful.Thank you to all who have given us your support over the past, almost 4, years. It really, really helped a lot.

Thank you so much to you all for all the kind words and wishes. It's really touching to read them all. I am ok, it got pretty bad towards the end, (constant chest infections and other painful issues) but then suddenly, he was gone. So very grateful it happened like that. I feel a bit lost now, as my routine was all about visiting him,but I will be ok, spring is coming and I plan to see the grandchildren more. We had a lovely funeral and it shocked and delighted me how many came (as he had been away, in the care home for so long).

I will still visit this site then, thankyou, love and God bless you all xx
