Silicone earplugs

Hi folks,

I expect quite a few of you with BI struggle with sleep, I know I used to, waking up at silly o’clock in the middle of the night and finding it hard to get back to sleep.

Well not only do I find lavender and frankincense essential oils help cos they are both relaxing but I also find silicone earplugs are great to.

I can be a bit of a sound sleeper so the slightest noise could wake me up.

I’ve used the basic earplugs before, the ones that are like cylinder sponges, but they can be uncomfortable and they do have a tendency to fall out of your ears during the night as well.

Silicone earplugs cover your ears as they are quite sticky and they do not need to be pushed into your ear.

You can buy a box of 3 pairs from Boot’s for £5 which you might think is reasonable when I think it is robbery really. Reason why is because you can buy silicone earplugs online a lot cheaper. Different brand but does the same thing.

So I normally buy y boxes in one go and then I don’t have to buy any more for a few months :).

I even told Boot’s in a comment on their page that the price of the earplugs was a complete rip off and you can get better, cheaper ones online.

matt, ive been using ear plugs for years. i agree when you first put them in they are hard and uncomfortable, but if you stick with them they become softer.

Yes, I’ve done this already. But silicone ear plugs, I find, are waaaay better.

Conversely I hate silicone ones. My preference is for laser lites that I was given on a walking trip a few years ago. Now buy them online... Never travel without them and use them at home if there's noise around...
