Winnie the Pooh should be a Neuro Pyschologist

The usual thing I was looking for something and found something else instead. The thing I came across was one of those fridge magnets with a quote on from "Winnie the Pooh" It fitted so well to our mindset and had a look at some other Pooh quotes.

The little bears quotes were so good and so close to what we battle with each day it could almost have been written for us. The sayings of Winnie the Pooh sum up our lives and outlook so well and could almost have been written for us.

“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?”

“People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.”

“You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”

“Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.”

“What day is it?" It's today," squeaked Piglet - My favorite day," said Pooh.”

“I'm not lost for I know where I am. But however, where I am may be lost.”

“The things that make me different are the things that make me.”

“When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.”

I really like these:

“One of the advantages of being disorganized is that one is always having surprising discoveries.”

“Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?”

“I did know once, only I've sort of forgotten.”

“I do remember, and then when I try to remember, I forget.”

“My spelling is Wobbly. It's good spelling but it Wobbles, and the letters get in the wrong places.”

Thats life post injury. Wish some of the Neuro people would understand this

There are a lot more at goodreads.com/author/quotes...

After a rotten day need your very own piglet ....

“I don’t feel very much like Pooh today," said Pooh.

"There there," said Piglet. "I’ll bring you tea and honey until you do.”

That last bit reminds me of the quote by the late Cliff Morgan "Rugby, a mix of Opera, Ballet and Murder"

Have you tried wheelchair rugby?

I think it was better named when it used to be called murder ball.

I think the polite words are. Flaming dangerous.
