I had a stroke in January had a craniotomy due to a bleed after clots were removed had my cranioplasty in July my head still feels strange on the side where I had the cranioplasty they used my bone for the flap replacement not sure how to describe the feeling except to say it feels heavy or numb and sometimes when I am standing or when I close my eyes I feel a bit dizzy how long does this last?

I had my cranioplasty 3 months ago they had to throw my boneflap away as it had been eaten by the infection that i got after my tumour was removed. I am no where near ready for work 3 major ops within 8 months one step at a time and like you i get dizzy spells and also a tightness over where the plate is good luck with your recovery.
