hi..... I've been reading through the post.....although i probably missed a few......i think i have an AVI sort of thing .Its full name is a cavernous cerebral haemangeoma...looks like i've had multiple strokes.....brain damage....very little co ordination.....next to no balance (am permanently in a wheelchair)...lacking in motor skills, dysphagia (i have a PEG fitted) and dysarthria.........to name but a few problems but i'm lucky enough to have the love and support of a very special husband and a very patient son. So this is me in a nutshell. I am looking forward to becoming part of the community and making new friends.

Hi Dinkylimpet. Welcome to the site. I'm sure you will find much friendship and support here from people affected likewise. It sounds as if you have a very supportive family but sometimes it helps to talk to outsiders as well. I have an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) which is a congenital problem. I don't contribute to all the posts I see, but do try to visit the site every few days. Take care. Lulu
