We have been to Prestatyn many times in years past - my son used to play in the snooker tournaments at Pontin's in his youth : )

I always used to wander down to the beach in the evenings for some quiet time -happy days : ) x

Point of ayr lighthouse on talacre beach , just past the dee estuary. I live further down the dee. Was for sale for a hundred grand in 2011 don't know what happened to it since. Cheers for the picture

Edit, lighthouse has been inactive since early 1880s but was operational for just over100 years before that. It had 2 lights For a period of time one shone down the Dee to a Cheshire village, the other was directed to Llandudno. If Wikipedia is to be believed at some point it was red and White stripes.
