Theres no info on allergens on their website that I can find and nothing on the packet. The ingredients are water, rice flour, spirit vinegar, cornflour, lots of spices, thats it. Should it say on the packet if they are made somewhere where there may be wheat like the Sainsburys ones do?

I've eaten lots of rice noodles without ill effect. I even order vermicelli noodles at the local Chinese takeaway. No problem!

Tesco produce a regular list of products with "No gluten containing ingredients", searching on google for 'tesco "no gluten" list' (without the outer quotes) will show you the document (it's a pdf). Make sure you get the latest version. I've checked the March 2012, June 2013 and Sept 2013 versions, and singapore noodles are on all three. They are also listed as suitable on Coeliac UK Food Directory. Haven't tried them personally, and have suffered ill effects occasionally from items on Coeliac UK list from certain stores, so always worth being cautious. Though haven't had any problems with Tesco items on Coeliac UK list.

Thanks folks! I look for that gluten free list, it's a shame telcos staff can't use it in store, the assistant I asked could only tell me they were suitable for vegetarians. In fact the phrase 'suitable for vegetarians' is really starting to wind me up!
