eye drops following cataract and I stent

following cataract and I stent surgery 2weeks ago ,I have been using 1 ohial of eye drops per eye.

Previously told that 1phial would do for both eyes

I understand about cross infection but was wondering how long I need to use separate phials for each eye

Obviously getting through double the amount of my glaucoma drops and GP surgery have queried this

Hi, As long as you are very careful when putting in the drops and make sure the phial does not touch either eye or surrounding skin, I think you will be ok. I know what you mean about using up more drops (phials). I hope you get some more replies - and they all say the same as me! Good luck and kind regards x

Hello. It should only be one eye drop per eye, so 1 vial should be enough for both of your eyes. Then if there is any left over, discard of this and then open another vial at the time of your next dose. I would echo the comment about just being careful that it doesn't touch your eye to avoid infection. I hope this makes sense and answers your query.
