Good morning im just wondering if anyone has the same problem as i have at the moment. Since my glaucoma surgery ive had three stitches taken out and needling twice all in seven werks. Im on my third lot of antibiotic drops plus my normal six drops of prednisone drops. The last week, my eye has been continuously sore and irritable. Is this normal?

If you Google steroid drops, you will notice that they increase eye pressure and cause cataracts. My pressure shot up when I used Prednisolone and Prostaglandin Analogs. It went down again when I went off of it and used NSAIDs instead. Not everyone may be suited for these type of drops. Make sure you are taking the right drops for your condition.

I don’t know a lot about this condition, but I have had an uncomfortable right eye for 8 weeks after surgery. I am keeping positive and hoping my next check up shows lower pressure. It’s a big shock to the body, but try to visualise a successful result.

Im hoping that next weeks checkup will show a better result as they said that the needling will have to be done in the theatre. My eye is so sore all the time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed."
