hi , my pressure is 16 and my next check up is in two weeks. This is 5 weeks after my trabeculectomy was performed. Still very blurred vision in that eye and on maxidex drops 4 times a day. At least the excessive liquid in my eye has abated although I still wake with haloes in my eye. I need to keep positive that everything is working out for me. Thanks for all the supportive comments.

Recovering from a trabeculectomy certainly feels like a journey and that pressure sounds high. I had mine in May had the pressure went from 25 to 0, and then 1 to 3 over first 8 weeks, which was a worry. The pressure stabilised eventually and are now at 8. The blur is still there but in the last couple of weeks it’s got a lot better. At my last outpatients the Dr advised I needed the cataract removing asap. I was given todays date, only to receive a call from the surgeons secretary on Wednesday saying the surgeon thinks the cataract op is too soon after the trab and can I attend for an outpatients appointment today instead. So that’s where I am, sat in a hospital cafe awaiting outpatients appointment. A journey!!
Hi, I had a Trabeculectomy in June. I think that the drops will be causing blurred vision. Hope you are not bending or lifting anything that pulls your tummy. This will not help your pressure. Try and stay positive. I had blurred eye for good 2 months. Good luck. Good back to your eye clinic if worried. Angela
I had my Trab last year pressures are now 6 in eye but still find that I need to use the dry eye drops now and then. After my Trab pressures were still up and drops make cataract op needed. It does take time and still blurry but that is the glaucoma the Trab just stops the pressure. I have 16 pressure In other eye but stable at moment. Surgeon mentioned a MONO op less evasive. Do visit your opticians once settled down as my vision changed completely and had to have new glasses.
I have a. GTT in my left eye June and my pressures were 12 after 8 weeks recovery, and I am still using the same 4 drops I have before it, my next appointment is in the new year, should be in December but they are always behind in my local eye clinic, I personally wouldn't worry about yours been 16 that sounds good to me, if you are worried give your Opthalmologist a call to put your mind at rest. Best wishes
