I have suspected Normal Pressure Glaucoma and have been prescribed single use Monopost eye drops. I have been putting them in for about three weeks and since then I have been having mild headaches. The pressure in my left eye is 9 and in my right eye 10. Because I am a type 1 Diabetic I have an eye screening test every year. Five years ago the Diabetic eye screening team referred me to the Eye Hospital with a ‘non Diabetic lesion’. At that appointment they gave me a FoV test and discharged me. The Diabetic Eye Screening referred me again last year and I have waited a year for an appointment. There obviously was something wrong five years ago. Has anyone any experience of NTG? Do the Monopost headaches ease with time. I would like to hear about it please.
Thanks.

Hi there, there are several of us on here with normal tension glaucoma and if you search the forum you will see the various threads discussing, in particular, links between migraine, Raynauds and glaucoma.
All I would say is if the current drops that you are using are giving you headaches, it’s worth going back to your consultant to discuss alternatives. Good luck!
Thanks for you prompt reply. I do have a long history of Migraine, but these headaches are mild and just annoying. I will be seeing my Consultant soon and will see if there is any alternative drops. Thanks again.
