Eye pressure /alcohol

hi does anyone know if alcohol affects eye pressure.

Ive been alki free for almost 2 yrs but due to a vvvv stressful situation I had full bottle of wine yesterday!!!!!!!

I woke in night and could see red patches -does anyone know re alki and eye pressure Im scared Ive had some kind of bleed!! Damn not had alki for nearly 2 years but Im treble stressed now I may have caused problem , Not on monopost at mo as consultant said have a break.

Temporarily reduces pressure, but not deemed to be effective as long term treatment because of side effects.

it seems to me that alcohol is blamed for far too many things. Enjoy your wine and stop worrying.

Alcohol is fine and unlikely to cause any lasting effects for your glaucoma, as long as you drink in moderation and not excessively. Don't stress about your bottle of wine.

Bless you thank you- Guess also feeling guilty re ending my nearly 2 yr abstinence but stress did it!!! Long as extra pressure & bloody Glaucoma dont add to it!
