I have Fybromyalsia. I take Gabapentin and a bunch of other drugs. When I am in pain I take ibuprofen (800mg) This is my question... Does anyone else struggle with Dry mouth? Also I have had a cough since 2012. I have a lot of mucus usually in the morning and evenings I seem to be good for the most part now during the day if I am careful at what I eat. The doctors can't determine what the cause is. I have had every test available except for biopsy of my lungs. Why? Why am I experiencing these weird symptoms? Of course with these kind of diagnosis we can pretty much expect weirdness.

Hi ,I'm on Nortriptyline and I have a terribly dry mouth with it, so much so my dr gave me an oral saliva stimulating gel to help with it.I vaguely remember having a dry mouth on Gabapentin I just remember how foggy and forgetful I was whilst taking it and how I constantly craved cake. I too am bothered with mucus but find if I lay off the dairy products it helps a little. Good luck and I hope you find relief.

Hi there, I have fibro and also depression and I have all these symptoms and more. Doctors do not seem to listen to their patients anymore. There are numerous symptoms that are indicative of fibro. Over one hundred symptoms from what I have read. And sometimes I feel like I have all of them. Dry mouth can also be caused by other medications as I also suffer with this.
