I feel so poorly today ,struggling to use my left hand I just can't get it to work how I need it to and feel very light headed unstable on feet , but I must go to the hospital to see my mother who's had a stroke Monday night, she's been in A& E since then because of having no beds anywhere in the hospital. I just want to sleep 😴 .
I haven't even told my wife I'm not well today because she is trying to earn some wages with being self employed.
I may feel better after a sleep .
Sorry to hear about your mother, I hope she is managing to get the care she deserves now.
Its not surprising with what whats going on that its effecting your nervous system, try not to be too hard on yourself.
Mirror therapy comes to mind, when you are struggling to move your hand, this helps show you there is nothing wrong with your hand. So instead of looking directly at your hand, trying looking at it in the mirror and then try to move it by watching (you are taking away the attentional focus of your hand to the mirror), maybe even add a sensory touch too - pretty sure thats one of the techniques.
