dislocation

i dislocated my middle finger last week while i slept , hand was stiff put pressure on the knuckle and it seemed to pop back and was swollen(went down) and again yesterday popped in and out while asleep so woke up with swollen and sore hand, has anybody had this or similar is to do with FND or is it something else i have to get sorted thanks

Hi I would say unusual symptom, not heard of actual joint dislocation with FND?

However, over flexible joints or hypermobile joints are obviously not going to improve your FND as the brain needs to coordinate that bit more to maintain posture/function.

That signal overloading of the brain certainly adds an extra level of unpredictability to my Motor FND!

Hello there,I hope that your finger is better now, but i thought it strange when i read your email as i have just been in etreme pain with my big toe!!! thought it could be arthritis, but it felt more like a strain or dislocate??? On talking to neighbours etc they said put it up on cushions above your head and the pain should go, and low and behold after about 5 days it did, is ok now but cant bend it, so found it strange when I read your email!!!!!

FND seems to be throwing up all sorts of problems, but firmly believe that the docs will have the answers soon, hope you feel a little better, take carex
