Has anyone tried or had success with Shiatsu Massage?

CreativeCraftyCats profile image

My husbands friend has just finished training and has offered to give me a treatment. I’m apprehensive as I’ve never been one for massages and want to see if anyone has experience and has had positive results from it.

I was recommended this by a massage therapist for my FND, but yet to try it. I think it was actually Watsu in (Shiatsu in the water) She thought it might help re-train the nervous system as my FND re-flared disabling me at 40 after 4 years of remission. I haven’t yet done it, let me know if it works please.

I would think anything thing that allows you to get out of your head and just feel good is going to help. Or at least that’s what I have been told by my neurologist and PT. I get reiki treatments every other week that help soooo much!
