I had my 3rd BCG treatment last week. The first was actually the hardest. I had not really been given much advice on what to do by the Dr. doing the BCG and I did not rest, especially on the day after the treatment.

By really taking it easy after the treatment and on the next day, the aches, pains and bladder irritation have been much reduced.

The other tip I can give you is that there is some dribbling both before and after urinating and some urgency. Although I have not had any real "accidents" a pair of depends gives a lot more confidence the days after a treatment. I wear my jockey style underwear and put the depends on over them. No feeling of plastic diaper against my skin.

BCG is working when you have side effects. I tolerated 7 and then I couldn't do any more. Watched

Interesting....I have had 5 yrs of BCG and after the first one felt a bit under the weather with flu like sensations however after that everyone was without symptoms ....however a bit of a drag having to stick close to home after each one as urges to pee are frequent and the first urination feels like peeing razor blades.
