my latest BAT experience

Well i jumped off BAT on Oct 2nd as my PSA skyrocketed along uric acid. It appears one can cause the other to rise and vice versa. So from Sep 30 to Oct 30 my psa spiked from 1.4 to 6.36 at which time i visited ER for kidney stone. It’s all in the graph along with a text explanation. Needless to my beast escaped and instead of just a lymph story it became a lymph and bone story. One met on L4, and one on iliac along with a decent sice lymph met in back of abdomen. The good news is all the other mets in chest and shoulder lymphs are gone.

After starting back on ADT Ogrovyx/Nubeqa my PSA fell off a cliff and is now 0.11 and dropping. When it reaches 0.05 i will jump back on BAT. 🦇

In the meantime I convinced my MO to prescribe low dose E2 at 0.025mg/wk. I started Wednesday and I cannot tell you how energetic i am and my mental outlook is no longer introvert but extravert. I am actually passing people saying hi with a big smile 😃 instead of just saying high with a blase look.

My hand joints no longer hurt. I know Kaliber had a similar response to E2 patch recently.

I asked my MO can the Orgo/Daro kill the bone mets and he said absolutely, so i said good we don’t need to do SBRT and he said correct. I will keep a sharp eye on my PSA and won’t let it get over 1.0 while on high T. For Now!

I tell ya im not hating adt as long i am taking E2 patch so i won’t be as reluctant to get on adt.

Saw Dr Denmeade this week as a new patient... Discussed ex-bat and other trials. Having been on X-Bat for 1 year 8 months with steady PSA 8 ....he said he has heard good reports from this protocol (probably from Russ's data) he has a lot of trials going on now ...he can provide updates and is more than willing to share what he's learned.
