I found an interesting article on the status of immunotherapies in PCa which I found mentally and spiritually stimulating. I believe when you read this article, you will be surprised at all the studies that are ongoing for immunotherapy drugs alone or in combo. It includes tables on current status of trials, etc... From the article: As of May 1, 2019, more than 1100 clinical trials are active (or recruiting) for PCa spanning these different approaches, of which 63% are therapy based, with 12% being immunotherapeutic in nature.
You're most welcome. God bless you...When you think where we were 10 years ago with only Lupron approved, and the current status of available drugs, and where research is headed for the future in overcoming Pca and resistance. It astounds me !!!!
Indeed, there is an area I refer to as "Cross overs" which are drugs utilized in another cancer that can be used in PCa. As PARP inhibitors were used in Breast Ca, and now PCa...Drugs for Small cell Lung Ca are being utilized against Neuroendocrine Pca... Drugs that inhibit specific areas that are common in several types of cancer. The Golden Age of Oncological Research is upon us. May we soon have a cure or a formula for durable remissions... Thanks for the reply...
Then there are still the medical device trials for things like Nanoparticles, CTC collectors, etc...Even more to consider in the fight... I know what you mean about the amount of information to process and why many eyes should be focused on the ball.
