Broccoli Sprouts--loaded with sulforophane--a must for your dietary attack on PCa..

Many of us seek methods to attack our PCa and hold it in check and reduce our PSA's and I endorse to you....the lowly broccoli sprout. Filled with sulforophane, the broccoli sprout helps in the fight against PCa. Sulforophane is the key ingredient in Broccomax but to get it in a stronger dose, one should look at growing broccoli sprouts... Some info on sulforophane and PCa:

aus.supersprout.co/app/uplo...

sciencedaily.com/releases/2...

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

Growing the sprouts is fairly easy as seen below:

cleaneatingkitchen.com/how-...

stephgaudreau.com/how-to-gr...

and how to increase sulforophane:

youtube.com/watch?v=Z7buU-P...

I eat about 2/3 of a cup daily with a spicy mustard and hummus on a cracker.. The one bad side of broccoli sprouts is the formation of gas--flatulence.. This can be dealt with by simethicone capsules or Bean-O...

Cujoe suggested buying a dog and blaming the gas attack on the dog, but I think that is too unfair to the dog... Any questions??

Good Job, Señor Pescado! Woof, Woof, BowWow!

IMHO, The #1 dietary addition for EVERYone with PCa. Easy to do and tasty, too.

There's a guy in the office that gets the broccoli stems that would otherwise be discarded from the company cafeteria and puts them in one of the nearby fridges. Probably not the best source of sulforophane but handy and free in large quantities. I used to make fun of him walking around the building with a broccoli stalk but now I do it too.

The only downside is my company doesn't allow dogs in meetings, if you know what I mean.

Well, there is simethicone for the gas.... the benefits of a diet that is high in sulforophane should not be lost on anyone... It also shows some protection against cardiovascular disease... an issue with ADT...

and also against dementia:

The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of B. sprouts should not be ignored IMHO...

Thanks for replying...

Very interesting. I did not know about heating the sprouts. One more step, but well worth the effort in order to maximize the benefit. Thanks Fish.

Sprout on!

Thanks for that Don. I really must give it a go. I'm a farting superstar already so this isn't going to make much difference to life or to air quality in London...

Sorry but I would monitor the air quality.... I did not have much gas prior and now, I am like a wind storm...LOL...

I started my first batch in a quart mason jar on Sunday. It’s almost ready for consumption. It really is simple. I’ll keep you all posted on my SBD’s. 😬👻💭

It actually took me a while for the SBD's--told cujoe I must be growing them wrong or something, but I was not consuming as much initially, but since taking in 2/3rds of a cup daily, it has been continuous...ROFL...

Great advice.

Also, I use some Chinese mushrooms to jack up my immune system. My diet and mushrooms kept my PC quiet, at .01 for 8 years. Silly me, I thought I had beaten it. My daughter wanted me to eat chocolate ice cream with her on her birthday. Bad decision. I’m back to be a strict vegan diet without sugar or honey. My pharmacy is the produce section of Whole Foods, as suggested by the doctors at MD Anderson.

No real answers of cure for this disease. So we keep breathing until we find a cure which works for us.

All of you are in my prayers to beat this cancer.

Peace be with you

Thanks for your response.

City of Hope in Duarte, CA had a clinical trial of white table mushrooms, started 2008 and supervised by Dr. Przemyslaw W. Twardowski, M.D. and City of Hope in Newport Beach, CA have started new clinical trials on the same mushrooms. If you search City of Hope's website, you will find the mushroom clinical trial with data: reducing PSA of over 37% of participants; and instructions on how to get the mushrooms and how to take them. I have been taking mushrooms, since 2009, on and off again. My PSA as been between .4 - .6 for the last year. We are watching my PSA with monthly bloodwork. I had my prostate robotically removed in 2009, radiation in 2017 and now watching. Ready for radiation and ADT if PSA increases, at 70 years old. Dr. Jeffrey Yoshida and Dr. Kenneth Tokita are currently working with me.

Mother Nature has a lot of great things in it.... They have found a lot of drugs that are in use were derived from plants... They are not done finding them IMHO... I eat a lot of mushrooms and for more reasons than I love the taste--I do love the taste though... Thanks for the reply...
