Official UK awareness colours

I want to make some awareness bracelets to raise money for our local group, but cannot make out what colors they should be. We use Yellow with black spots, but when I googled it, purple came up??

What do folks suggest I do?

The ones for sale via the forum are purple or yellow and black both designs are recognised so either colour you do will be fine

Hope that helps

Purple is the International Awareness colour and ribbon for Fibro. However, when fma uk (at the time the only UK national charity relating to Fibro) set up, they decided for some reason not to use that, but to use yellow with black spots. Some groups use one, some use the other!

FibroAction started using the yellow & black, but found this isn't always popular. We ran a poll last year to judge what colour wristbands to bring out and 56% .of respondents said purple! So we've brought out the wristband set of 1 purple, 1 yellow & black.
