Hi, has anybody been told they have something wrong with there central nervous system, im waiting for CT scan ???

Not as yet, but I'm thinking I have that's why am going neurologist , I have been diagnosed with fibro but I'm sure there's something else wrong with me. I have symptoms of MS and Lupus early signs . If its just fibro u have then basically, anything possible . Problem is tests arnt run when I'm actually suffering . It depends on the GP at the time or whether I'm waiting three months or more to see a specialist . I've just been put on Lycra but havnt taken it yet because I darnt , the side effects are as bad as what they want to treat me for. It's a circle of things . I know there's something wrong with my nervous system as I've had fits and the way my body is behaving , not to mention all other things. If they say its just fibro please mail me and let me know I'm interested ,, Joanne x good luck x

yes ive had a ct scan and seen the neurologist. Lots of nerve tests dye in the spine etc too the rhumy i see thinks i may have MS ( its in the family ) but the neuro said no he says my nervous system is damaged by continual shingles and the nerves are shot . The immunologist i see said the neuro is wrong.Got to be honest i think the neuro may well be wrong too. The best of luck xx

I was diagnosed a few years ago by neurologist with MS , My sister has progressive MS, and My Grandad had MS.then I went to see a Rheumatologist a few years later with other symptoms and he said I also had Fibro, and now I have also been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy.and raynodes,and problems with my discs in my back, and arthritis in my spine.So yes you can have neurological problems with Fibro, but you may also have something else going on as well.Good luck
