appeal, get some help from the cab but dont give up you will get there in the end, good luck xx

Hi, I think their default response is no and that they hope people will go away. Keep fighting, get advice from the CAB like munchkin62 says, and keep fighting. Xx

Oops, fibrofog there, didn't realise I'd repeated myself!

Sorry to hear this Sooz. Give yourself a bit of time to take all this in and perhaps you will feel like appealing.

If you haven't already got the Benefits and Work info sheets, we can send you these for free if you email us on info@fibroaction.org. These info sheets contain lots of helpful info on ESA and DLA, completing forms, assessments and appeals etc.

Wishing you all the very best whatever you decide.

Hiya Sooz, is this the first time you have applied for disability allowance? If so, they usually tend to turn first time appliers down, (not sure why.) But you've done the best thing by asking them to get it looked at again, as they usually give you it a second time, but I don't want to get your hopes up as this isn't always the case! I still have the DLA forms sat here after 3 months, I'm scared to send them as it's so much stress! I've never applied before, I'm scared of being turned down, as I know I'll only get myself worked up! I wish you the best of luck getting accepted as the money helps people like us go a long way! Fingers crossed, let us know how you get on :)
