Remember that rolling ball? Well...

Some of you may recall my blog on the topic of returning to work, well that ball is just whizzing along now!! I made an appointment to have a chat with my advisor regarding my home-tutoring idea and duly turned up for it today. After a catch up, she and I get on really well, we had our dicussion and a further appointment made to chat with a self employment advisor. Feeling satisfied, that things seemed to be rolling at a pace I can cope with, I got up to leave when she dropped the bombshell that I would have a new advisor as part of a shake-up. Not too pleased with that decision,( you know how it feels when you've built a trust and revealed a lot of personal info, it doesn't do us any good to rake through it all again) my advisor suggested I speak to the site manager. I decided to make a stand for myself and asked for a 'chat'. Well after the intros and handshake off I set... half an hour later I came out with a work placement there, with the intention of being employed there as part of their education team!!! Work that out!?! My heads 'gone jon' as my chirpy 17 yr old often tells me. So you see, I've gone from 'what,where,when?' to 'Oh my dear Lord!'. THE BALL HAS BECOME A MASSIVE BOULDER, TRAVELLING AT TERRIFIC SPEED.Take a deep breath and go with the flow(my personal mantra)...S x
