I went to a leading cheap supermarket today and found a heated back pad, it stretches from neck to past the base of the spine , AT £14 99 , a lot cheaper than others i have seen around. I have it working now but wrapped around my pelvis , it hepls the aches so much i thought i would tell you all about it .
Take care xx J

Wow that's brilliant and a reasonable price too. Thank you for sharing.I am so glad you are finding it helpful.
I find warm helps me with aches and pains too.
Piggy hugs xxxx
Is it re-usable? I have two and they heat up but you have to place them in boiling water when they go cold to reuse, I would like one that goes in the microwave but can't find one at the moment.
I've used 'heating pads' for years, but they were small patches for shoulder injuries etc..
I would really like to try something better, so please, please get back to me.
I'm new to the site so, I'm not sure if we can name individual products.
But I would be very grateful if you could 'message' me.
Thank you so much

MaryT you need the wheat bag type that you put in the microwave. Most Chemists do them. They are usually long enough to wrap around your neck or across your back.
whoops its one you plug into the mains , has variable heat controls and stays warm for 90 mins before safety cut out kicks in , i find the smell of wheat bags nauseous which is a shame as i love the animal ones you can get xx
I have one of them. Plug in ones but paid about £20.00 for it, must say it's fantastic and got my mother in law. One for Christmas she was made up well worth investing in one if you can afford it mine was from a shop beginning with A**** hoe is can get away with that gentle hugs
i love mine, which heats in the microwave. it's long so really good for wrapping round my neck and shoulders. however, it doesn't hold the heat for longer than 20 mins, so investing in an electric model would be worthwhile.
