no you should not have a medical it is just questions to which they fire at you and make you feel like a little child, my appeal was not nice but that does not mean yours will be, dont no what area you come from but my appeal was in birmingham uk, lets just say i will not be going throught it again, it was not nice.

Thank you for the heads up. I am really worried after waiting for 15months I know it won't be long now. I have even thought of not going, but I know that's daft

No, they are not allowed to do a medical at an appeal. Try not to worry toomuch about the appeal process, But just be ready for them to put you through it so to speak. Hold your nerve and say everything YOU want to say without letting them sideline you xxxx

You will understand how I am worried about getting my words muddled and forgetting what I am trying to say. It's bad that we are made to feel intimidated by these people who wouldn't treat people with visible disabilities in the same way they treat up. I feelI am aalways on the defensive

Chrissy hun, fobro sufferers always seem to be on the defensive and it is so unfair. They had me in such a state I could not even get words out. I never even had the chance to tell them about all the lies told by the ATOS doctor, and I do use the term 'doctor' loosley. So they got away with it and I lost my appeal. And I hate to think of anyone else going through that. If it helps write down everything you want to say hun, good luck xxxxxx

The best thing to do is make sure you have a person with you that understands your condition & will help you if you get tired, forgetful confused, agitated etc. It is always better to have a support person with you, Dont be afraid to let them help you at the appeal.
