I had my DLA tribunal in July and got low rate. The judge said at the time that they could only take into account what I was like when I first applied.
In my tribunal letter, the judge wrote that as my condition had deteriorated further, I should apply for a suppression as there was proof I was receiving more care. I have done this and am still waiting for a result, although I and my social worker keep phoning.
Do apply but just warning you that you may have a long wait.
That reminds me, I must phone again.

Thank you for your post. I called today and had the most helpful person ever. She said that there was a note on there that they were waiting for information from me that I sent in October. She is emailing the decision makers that I sent it and gave my official start date for care.
If they haven't had it, she is going to ask them to contact me.
