Thank LibertyZ. I have fought my way back to work quoting equality Act although to b honest I was relying on works ignorance. It is soo very wonderful to b back in work with colleagues I love BUT I am struggling and am afraid of over doing myself. I need to find the balance and u know how hard that is!!! Thank u so much I will take a look

Gentle hugs

Not totally sure I have this right... But . If you work 24 hours I think you are entitled to working tax credit, and if you have children children's tax credit....if you have partner who works full time I am not sure but its worth looking into

Good luck

If you have a health condition thats classed as a disability you only need to work 16 hrs and you a disability premium added to your entitlement as well as tax credit on top depending on your earning. Have a look on there website.

All sounds so confusing to be,downloaded the work & benefits info...just so mutch to read,I go back to work on Tuesday after 6 wks off as a cleaner in a hospital,I've already reduced my hrs from 30 to 24 a wk,I had been signed off for another 2 wks but my wages hd gone onto basic pay this month,I just can not now have any more time off sick because iv accumulated to much and I can't reduce my hours because of bills ect,I can't do my job anymore and feel like I'm stuck in a catch 22,we all are, refused DLA,they've sent appeals form through so I though I might get some good tips from info sheets, they are good and worth downloading,I wish I could gather up myself and all my information and say to one person...please sort this,I can't do it,it don't make sence!xx

They will be changing it all again when Universal Credit replaces Working Tax Credits and all benefits, next year. This is supposed to help disabled people in work, but in reality there will be many losers :-(

They're piloting UC in some areas next year

Info on Universal Credit to be launched in 2013 and what benefits it replaces -
