Why is it, the hotter i get, the more sore i get !

My body doesn't like being over hot or over cold. Temperature seems really affect pain levels. Hence heating is on and off. I tend to dress in layers so on goes go the big cardi when cold and wearing tshirts when I hot. However i an age where hot sweats are common and was recommend by doc to use sage for that and it seems to help unless it's or climate which is like fibro unpredictable

Like FU I cannot tolerate heat or cold. Have you ever tried finding a happy medium where the weather is concerned, for fibro sufferers I do not think there is one. I have never liked the heat but I used to love the cold xxxxx

I think it's all to do with nerve endings Mrsn. Some people find the warmer they are the less their pain is, and for others it seems to be the other way round. I am not sure of the exact reason. We all tend to be affected differently from one person to the next. We also all regulate our heat differently with Fibro, so we react differently to it.

My own personal body thermostat is completely broken, my poor body can be boiling hot one minute and then freezing cold the next! Since I've had Fibro, I can't make sense of any of it, I just roll with it and either put on layers or take them off. I am used to it now but it's still rather annoying and frustrating.
