Does anyone remember when bump and grind were dance moves and not us trying to get up out of a chair and bumping into doorways ? ha ha

:D Indeed! I went to 'patient handling' training the other week, and one part was - in pairs - to assist the other person from the chair. You have to wriggle to the front of the chair, and your 'helper' places one hand on your collar bone, and the other on your upper back, and says 'ready, steady, stand'. Only trouble was, my right knee gave way on the 'stand' bit, and I nearly went flat on my chops! Oh, the joys ... xx

Oh Sooty that sounds painful.

I remember the Bump, those guys in Kenny with their long legs and cute bums! Those were the days :-)

...and don't you just love the way that other people don't get it? I drove some family to my sister's Birthday party, they directed me to park at the back of the venue where there were some disabled parking spaces, so when my Dad offered to take me to the hotel we were staying at, I assumed his car was round the front - no - he made me walk there! It wasn't far but I had to continually tell my 70-odd year old Dad and 80-ish year old step-mother to slow down and by the time I got there I was in agony! Luckily I got a lift back but I couldn't use my camera because of the pain in my arm from using my walking stick and then later in the evening, my Dad asked me why I wasn't getting up to dance?!?!? *sigh*
