In 1981, the American Medial Association (AMA) recognized FMS as a true physical illness and a major cause of disability, and in 1993, the World Health Organization (WHO) as part of the Copenhagen Declaration officially declared fibromyalgia a syndrome. Because of this action, the illness was given an ICD code (International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems).

An excellent piece of info on fibro so we re recognized you would think that would lead to more papers being written and Doctors with more knowledge on the subject at the moment it seems to be a lottery as to whether your own Doc has taken the time to keep up to date on Fibro its treatments and the signs that you are suffering.

Excuse my language... That's bloody brilliant well done for finding that out and posting it .. Have copied and saved that... I get lowest rate dla no mobility they refuse to acknowledge my fibro I only get dla for my osteo arthritis my review is due next June I will certaly be quoting that at them in capitals and underlined

Hello to everyone, I am replying here to you all as my hhands and fingers just dont want to play today along with every muscle burning, Im on fire, But ~ I AM HAPPY to share the info.. I have lots of research done over the years and will share bit by bit as I get around to it.. even if it helps in anyway for anyone it will be soooo worth it.
