hurts me that is.
I have one of the lightest possible duvets, a single mulberry silk one. I used a microfibre blanket up to now but it's too cold at night now.
anyone found a lighter one?

sandra.

I havent found a lighter one, I just stick my legs out - must look very silly but who cares!
Good luck hunting xgins
I found that a while back so I bought myself an electric blanket for the bed. I turn it on about 10 minutes before I went to bed and it had warmed up lovely. It has an automatic turn off so by the time I was asleep it was snug as a bug. Just a sheet and a blanket would suffice then. It might be worth a try. JT
I have a hotel quality duvet, they are sold in places like Dunhelm where they also hang all their duvets so you can compare weight etc ( I bought mine from EBay for half the price lol) it is the lightest but warmest duvet I have ever had, after 7 knee ops and fibro my legs are so sensitive and I cannot stand anything too heavy on them , alternatively if its heaviness on legs that's the problem one of the cage type things they have in hospital to keep weight & bedding of your legs may be the answer, keep able and other such mobility shops supply them if you can't get supplied from occupational health dept

Hi sandra99b - I use a goose down 4tog duvet. It's so light and theoretically
it's supposed to keep you at the temperature you are when you go to bed.
Sometimes it works but if it is still uncomfortabe I just stick my legs out the bed.

thanks all, things to consider.
unfortunately, when I bought my memory foam mattress topper, it said do not use with an electric blanket as it affects the topper's properties.
if problems continue, I might have to take my topper off. [ooh matron!]
