painful lumps

is it just me, or does everyone with fibro gets. i get hard lumps at the base of my spine. they rest on the nerves and make me feel like a cripple...... im only 41.

Hi, that sounds painful, are they like knots that you can get? Maybe a good massage by an expert, a doc may be able to sort this out for you

ive been to massage therapists, ive now been able to move them off my spine and not to do too much in the home. ty for the advice, it meens alot that i can talk to someone else about this awful illness. just lately, ive been wondering if it was this fibro, that caught hold of my nanna in the eighties. she was always in a lot of pain and discomfort when she hit forty.her doctor just kept telling her that it was all in her mind and put it down to depression. he got her hocked on valium for years, then she hit the bottle and her life was over for her, she thought. i hope that your not suffering to much. xxx

Have your doctors checked these out? You would not expect lumps with Fibro unless they are myofascial trigger points (aka muscle knots).
