The pain seems to be more wide spread than it was, the stiffness

Is worse, I never used to get it in my neck now I do, and when

I have no pain in my neck it is very stiff,

I don't have any energy and have to make myself do things

That has got worse, not sleeping is about the same not worse

Concentration is bad can't read Amy more one of my big

Loves, life is boring as can't do anything realy as I am so

Tired.

I am very lucky I have a good marriage no stress in my life

Except going to work don't know how I do that only 22 hours

I tell you I don't have any stress as this for some seems to be

The reason that fibro gets worse, I have changed my diet

So that's not the reason

I can't seem to be able to hold a conversation as I loss

The thread it's as if the conversation is to fast for my brain

Or I can't remember what things are called or what comes

Out of my mouth does not make since

Makes me sound like I have dementire

All these things have got worse., I still have days that I don't

Feel to bad and think imam back to normal and then I might

Do some thing like a bit of house work and by the evening

I feel all the pain again.

But you know I am 59 so it could for me be worse it's not life

Threatening just life changing which we all have to except

And make the best of things

I think it depends on each individual, I have had Fibreo for over 8 years and in that time I have had lots of times when I cant get out of bed for days on end because of the pain and the fatigue, it is very frustrating. The pain gets very severe all over my body but I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy, I cant make arrangements to go out anymore because I just dont know whats going to happen from day to day, I also suffer from IBS, Migraines, Cluster Headaches, Fog Brain, Dry Eyes and Allergies, (some of them life threatening), some of thes conditions have been linked to Fibro. All these things started 8 years ago as before this happened I was quite healthy. I hate it when all my bones ache, I hate it when my energy gets sucked out of me but the worse thing about Fibro is that when people say 'BUT YOU LOOK WELL', this expression really knocks me back it feels like I am expected to be running around normal.

That the same for me i can never make any arrangements i have to take each day as it comes,i have had fibro for 5years and it gets so bad sometimes with the pain ,legs,shoulders,are the worse at the moment i also have IBS, Migraines ,brain fog and get so tired,I know what you mean people say you look well,so frustrating isnt it.take care. hi i have definately got worse i have had it 3 years but diagnosed 2 years ago and i have got alot worse since then i just hope it does not carry on and get worse love to you diddle xxx

Fibromyalgia is not classified as a progressive condition and we all tend to be a bit different regarding our symptoms, we also may have other conditions to deal with as well. Some Fibro sufferers say they have worsened when in actual fact their symptoms have changed. They may have more pain but be able to sleep better than before or have less pain but they have another symptom.

Some people are sure they've become worse whilst others say they are definitely better than they were.

I personally am better than I was in some areas and not so good in other areas, my legs definitely hurt much more but my overall body pain which was literally all over is better managed now and doesn't bother me much at all. My fatigue is worse, but through pacing I can manage that quite well.

Mine has got progressively worse over the last two years, noticeably so. even my son, who lives with me and sees me every day can see the progression. From it being purely in the back and below the waist, it is now in my shoulders and wrists, to the point where I can no longer even lift my kettle and cook.

My fibro has definitely got worse with age! My body hurts sometimes all over or my fibro is in a certain muscle! I've been in extreme arm pain today! My forearms and lateral muscles ache so bad even on my narcotic pain medicine!
