hi..might sound a silly question..has anyone found that when they are walking its as tho your feet have slipped on an icy patch..not sure if anyone will have the remotest idea what the fluff im talking about! lol but i cant describe it any other way ..x

No I can't say I have experienced that. I do feel sometimes as if my feet land somewhere other than where I put them though. x

Hands and feet are often subject to weird feelings with Fibro. Some days my hands and feet will tingle, sometimes have bad pins and needles, sometimes feel swollen and sometimes don't feel like my own at all! As Devonlady has said, I also feel as if my feet have landed somewhere other than where I put them!!

hi i get jellylegs and sometimesmy feet do feel like they are sliding so i do know the sensation you me and i also feel like i have got breeze blocks on my feet attimes it is awful all the fun of having fibro lol love to you and you are not goung mad this illness makes you feel like you are going mad at times doent it you keep thinking do i feel like that does that really feel like that am i feeling like this or that lol

I have very sensitive feet and hands, and I have to concentrate fully on picking up my legs when walking, otherwise I trip and fall. I'm too nervous to go out alone now.

My feet feel like there burning all the time & I get restless legs hope yours gets better soon my feet are getting worse but I have a new go so we'll see what's goin on x

I don't get the slippy icy feeling, but I feel like my feet are going to slip if that makes sense?! I even feel like I'm falling down a step which I know isn't there. I also have the ability with Fibro of tripping up steps, fortunately not down them! I image curbs that aren't there! Hubby thinks I'm finally going round the bend when we're out as I duck and dive all over the place avoiding things I think are there. Very funny to watch I'm sure, but it drives me nuts!
