is there any support groups in Thanet Kent ?
Hi there - I have no idea regarding local support groups I'm afraid. Just wanted to say hello to a fellow Kent resident. I live in the Tonbridge area.
hi, I have been on here awhile but not posted yet..a bit too scared., but I have an answer for u. There is a support group, haven't been as too scared to do that too. It is called fybromyalgiainthanetsupportgroup so u can go online for all the info. It's held at St.Christophers church in newington. (goodgrannie as I never say no..rather than my g randparenting skills.) Hello to everyone or anyone who sees this..seems very rude not to say I'm here, u all sound so lovely , but for very many reasons have kept myself to myself for many years, but it's been quite liberating to discover that I am not totally barking...other than the fog! and not only that there r actually names for some weird and (not so) wonderful symptoms....just realised telephone no. 01843 586806
Hello and a belated welcome to you Goodgrannie, please don't worry about being a bit scared, I am sure we've all been there once or twice (in my case more!). It's lovely to see you in the forum today and thank you so much for the info on the support group!
We are all in the same boat here with our Fibro, so don't worry about feeling "foggy", we all have that too! We're here to help and support you as well as each other, there's friendship here too! Pop in here whenever you feel the need, there's always someone around to compare notes or offer a shoulder to lean on etc. You are most welcome here!
perhaps shouldn't have said hello to everyone here...sorry.
Fibros in thanet have a support group which will be having a drop in meeting on Monday 13th August 10-30 am-12.30pm. address is St Christophers church hall,Princess Margaret Avenue. Ramsgate.CT12 6LG.

Hi juliemaria, glad to be of help, I shall see you there, drop ins are quite laid back and not so busy as the full meetings where we usually have a interesting speaker on health issues so be will easier to meet us lot.
hi I live in Ramsgate........Ive been diagnosed recently only because the gp mis diagnosed.as we all know this happens a lot........but I think I need to meet people like me but unsure of where to go...and I am very self conscious about myself, so tend to stay at home until the need must....I think I need to learn at lot but also scared to at the same time....are there any groups or is there a age or preferred agenda...see I don't know what I'm saying so think I will stop..getting confused now...but I hope you get what I mean..
