Has anyone here suffer from Sjogren's Syndrome?
Hi there Elky
If you click on the link below it will take you to various threads mentioning Sjogren's Syndrome. Some members have this as well as Fibromyagia and other conditions. Hopefully you will find some helpful info amongst those threads.
Hi there,I suffer with syjorgens syndrome, also raynaulds syndrome.
I don't really take any meds for the syjorgens apart from. Hypermellose eye drops for dry eyes,I chew sugar free gum and always carry a.small bottle of water to sip, nothing worse than having a dry mouth when you are out and finding it hard to talk as it can be a pain when your mouth is so dry.
I have to make sure I have a bottle of water with all my meals as sometimes I find it hard to swallow dry foods.
I did have a mouth spray from the doctors but it didn't taste very nice ,so I don't use it.
I also suffer with IBS which I feel is down to the dryness.
What sort of problems do you get?
Sandy.

Complaint
Biv
To be honest with you I have had aches and pains for years ,I am 48 but often feel 68, I never really know if the aches and pains ate due to syjorgens or fibromyalgia, who knows,I was treated for calcium and vitamin d deficiency, and that definatley helped after a couple of months, the aches I got then were more of a deep bone ache,if that makes any sense now I get less of that but I get muscle aches, cramps pain.
I had. chemotherapy and radiotherapy to the neck area in 2010 which made the dry eyes mouth bowels etc.
Does your hubbub take anything for calcium and vitamin D?sandy.
