hi lov this may sound silly

check out your ears with the Gp and also do you have a cold any thing with sinus or ears can make you dizy and feel out of it ... also get the doc to get your blood presure checked out ...

if not then its worth just a review of meds just to be a pain .. I know you may have heard the joke but you will be a cheep date xxx (sorry )

gentle dyslexic hugs

Thanks will get all that checked out.

I've had fibro fog where I feel dizzy and off balance - also spinning when sitting down - it was very strong sometime ago and is now less - could not tolerate thelow dose amitryptiline as like a zombie drunk in the morning for hours.

Could be one or more of a number of things

eg

reaction to your meds

middle ear / balance problems

migraine

high or low blood sugar

high or low blood pressure

thyroid problems

Get your gp to run some tests esp thyroid function and blood sugar (at least these are fairly simple to sort out)

I get this 99% of the time, like trying to walk on a moving bus. My G.P. has reffered me to a nuerologist.

On tramodol and ifind if I do not eat before taking them my blood sugars dip. I was on a different painkiller a while ago and the doctor said I was having an allergic reaction to them also I would get checked out though.

It might by that your body is turning sugar into alcohol. Happened to me, If I remember right it was because I had a leaky gut and sugar was not being utilized in the right place.

I feel like this every morning. I put it down to taking ropinirole for Restless Legs Syndrome. It's possible (reading other answers above) it might have something to do with hypothyroidism (which I also have). But I have to shake it off and push through it.

I have had this sometimes. I have noticed a variety of triggers over the years: tiredness, stress, anxiety, hormonal, information overload leading to agoraphobic symptoms of swaying and fear of collapse. It is worse if you eg trying to walk and talk at the same time. That's why agoraphobics feel better walking out at night or wearing sun-glasses or holding onto something or someone when they walk. I am convinced though that agoraphobic symptoms have a physical cause due to deficiencies in nervous system or brain.

Hi, You are not alone with this problem. I was putting it down to the fibro as doctor and my physio says we all suffer different levels of Fibro, some not so bad, some mild and some very severe. Was sent to condition management programme and informed by therapist that it is all down to my condition, Fibro. Now I too am a little concerned as have mentioned this on numerous occasions to my doctor also and told it is Fibro that causes it. I dont honestly know what to think now and a little worried that maybe something else wrong that they have overlooked . I hope you find an answer and let me know how you get on.

Take care x

I've been tested for all sorts and seen a neurologist for this same thing and end result was...you guessed it the fibro! I feel reassured because my GP is excellent when I get any new symptoms and doesn't just put it down to the fibro. I find with my "episodes" that sitting for too long in the same position makes it worse and I also get severe shakes in my right arm...broken lots of glasses! kikki x
