Hi everyone I am new to this
Hate to say, whatever your health, smoking is bad, but don't let that stress you out. It's unhelpful. Don't add trying to quit to your problems. As to meds, that's something you need to talk to your doctor about and it can take some time to find the right system for you. It's hard to pin down a cause of fibro, and one way to tackle it is to treat the pain and hope the cause sorts itself
out.
Check out this link to the mother site, there's loads of good information.

I have a picture of a Mp with a rather interesting face pinned ready as a rough idea of how I want him to look.
Do you know the definition of a synonym?
It is a word that is used in the place of one that you can`t spell.
Thats why it says Mp instead of polit... whatever
Hello and welcome to the site, I found it easier to stop smoking when my fibro kicked in one of my symptoms is a aversion to smells and found that I could not stand the smell of my clothes, my hair and very often myself
I used nicorette gum to help me to stop, but each to their own.
Best of luck getting your meds sorted hugs sue xx
Hi Nitrous
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I want to welcome you to the forum, and I genuinely hope that you find it as useful as I do?
I am very sorry but I am not a doctor so I cannot recommend any particular medication. However, there are plenty to try when you discuss the issue with your GP? Please remember that we are all unique individuals and we all react differently to our illness and our medications differently, so it may take some time to find what works best for you.
I am pasting you a couple of links below relating to how Fibro is treated, so I hope that you find them useful:

I want to wish you all the best of luck with finding what medications work for you.

Hi, I'm a smoker and hope to stop this year!!! I know it probably makes things worse, but it doesn't change the pain. I'd get a referral to a pain clinic. It helped make my life more bearable. Best of luck to you sweetheart!!! xxx Mitzi
