hi all, i feel quite excited that i've managed to hire a portable scooter for the week a bit of freedom but still have to wait on someone to put it together everytime i need to use it as we cant get it down the steps so stays in the car!
lets hope its good news on the housing front this week..

hi susie, there are quite a few mobility centres that hire out for a day to however much time you need one, they have a wideish choice and prices vary. i found the number on the internet but in the thompson local or yellow pages have numbers. the only thing to remeber is when there are public holiday ie jubilee, devon/cornwall show the demand is high so booking early is a must
Hi poppy. When I got my DLA the first thing I did was go on EBAY and bought a scooter cost less than 140 quid!!! Best buy I've ever made, before I got it I was virtually house bound. Now I can go shopping, car boots, something that I could not do for a long time.
