UK Doctors are telling govmnt to stop this ESA assesment as its ridiculous and wrong.

I hope this idiot primeminister can sleep at night with peoples lives being ruined and people killing themselves at a rate of 5 a week. Let us see if these docs can end this blatant class cleansing.

Well said madddyyy.....

I hope something can be done. I know a lot of people on here have had problems and sleepless nights over ESA and stuff :(

Mmm I'm one of them. After bills I now have £95 per week for petrol, clothes and food for myself and two teenage sons as my esa payments have stopped.

I doubt very much the government will listen to anyone , they've whipped the public up into a frenzy of thinking every claimant is a scrounger via the media .

They've chucked so much money at it they are now stuck with seeing it through I think. And I don't think they give a toss about how many people die in the process, it just saves them more money :(

Hi madddyyy, seems they are hell bent on picking on the vulnerable "scroungers", Makes me so cross, the odd few tar the genuine people with illnesses and disacilities and we have to go through the humiliation of these degrading medicals. would do our "esteemed leader" lol, good to have some of these illnesses for a length of time and see how lives are affected. Given the levels of unemployment they should concentrate on getting the youngsters into work, who is really going to employ someone who will need random time off work or who struggles on a daily basis, bad enough getting a job in your 50's. Listen to us....a joke!!!

i was called to go to the job centre and was interviewed by this young lady i was being assessed for the ESA that i am recieving .This person was so interested in what meds i was on and how they affected me [[This person had no medical background ]]]] she even said i was on a small amount of morphine I was getting quite upset with the inuendoes that she was giving me i went into my handbag and brought out my script and handed it to her She was quite taken back at how much medication i do take her attitude changed from then on .BUT WHAT gives her the right to question me like that Her not being trained in the medical field Well the out come of this meeting was i will still be getting the same level of sick money She did suggest that i go for counseling and go to self awareness classes and to top it off i had to climb two lots of stairs to get to her That will not happen again When she rings me i will politely ask if she can come down those stairs to me .My legs where shaking so much i thought i was going to fall .That meeting certainly rattled me x
