PHONED WORK
OMG, people like this make me mad. I bet that if they had this to deal with everyday they would soon change their tune.
You look after number 1 hun as nobody else will.
I had to leave work, but before i did i went in with a broken toe that i only done the night before and i had to clean holiday cottages. The pain was bad but firbo pain is far worse. So when i said i couldnt come to work then my manager totally understood thankfully.
I felt bad at leaving at first but now i knew i done the right thing.
hugs, kel xxx
I'm so sorry work are being....erm.....let's go for morons! I could use stronger words but probably best not too! hehe
You need to make sure you get yourself right before you go back chick, take time to pamper you
Grrrrr......having put up with various experiences in the workplace in the past (and not saying anything because I was too scared/didn't know how to or who to approach, etc.) and now being rather older and wiser, I would write a short letter to someone senior, cc to the head of personnel, quoting your assistant manager's "recommendation" and saying that you found it to be inappropriate (assuming that your assistant manager did not qualify at medical school?!), unsupportive, patronising and offensive, and you look forward to their response.
Even if your assistant manager does hold that opinion it is certainly not their place to say something so insensitive and rude!!
