not been so good since my holiday. acupuncture is going well and i am getting less pain and more sleep. have just come out of hospital again and feeling a bit low. I went into AF and took the usual pills which after 6 hours had no effect so i went to casualty and was whipped straight round to resus. apparently Af had gone and not into VT!!!!. I had some different pills and was taken to cardiac ward about 3am. lots of doctors saying different stuff and confusing me, then another cardiologist having a go at me for wanting to go home! well i snapped! burst into floods of tears and sobbed for ages not even a cheerful smile to help me. when i saw my specialist, he said he was not concerned, changed my pills and sent me home after 2nd night. why do these doctors have to be so brutal. that guy was wrong when he said i was to go to theatre in 3 days - glad hes not my specialist! any way i am home now and taking things easy. All friends and family have been great with calls, texts and visits and gifts too. and special thanks to rosehip for the support.

hope you all have a good day :) xxxx

I suffer with atrial fibrillation, but for some reason it turned to ventricular tachycardia - heart attack stuff! could have stopped at any minute. anyway my surgeon it d put down to pills and just changed them. so did not need an op at all!

Hey gypsycrafter, gentle hugs a-plenty I send your way. I've come across some really horrid "specialists" myself, so my heart goes out to you. Some of these people have no idea what the right and left hands are doing - let alone their brains! Glad you're not having the operation. Fibro is enough to cope with as it is!

Rest well sweetie.

Love,

Carol xx :-)

if your is better than mine, can we swap? i will have to have it eventually, but I am told by the boss that it is dangerous to have invasive surgery even just to put a camera in my blood vessels could be fatal. one thing against it all is that i am not very mobile so there is a high risk of stroke. xxxx

Hi Gypsycrater

This seems to be a nationawide issue with 'specailists' not believing that FM is a painful disease. Many of these 'Specialists' have no real idea about FM. I am lucky I see a FM specialist in Sevenoaks. He made me feel sane, but he is the only one. My Rheumatologist even seapks to me like I'm a lying child, and that it is all in my head, he tried to fob me off everytime.

Keep you chin up. XXX:)

It is not a good situation is it? All we can hope is that one day they will get it too! being in hospital with a heart condition always gives me a fibro flare and ocd is much worse. they say they have staff who cope with ocd at work, but really have no idea of all the triggers that affect people or the severity. all i can say is that if they have ocd mildly, then they may be able to do nursing, but i would not be able to any more! I cannot tell them what triggers either fibro or ocd until the situation arises and then they dont understand why i get agrivated! It does not help my heart condition either. much better now that i am home, but the friend looking after me has now done his back in!!

Hope you're ok Gypsey crafter, I heard that can make the pain of fibro worse, hope your pain eases soon, and they do ask daft questions, i'm alway aware that I spend a lot of time boring through them with my eyes when I'm not pleading my case, love to put them all on a bonfire lol xxx
